South Africa’s young talent Tristan Stubbs achieved his maiden Test century on Day 1 of the second Test against Bangladesh in Chattogram.
Playing a composed knock of 106 off 198 balls, Stubbs hit six fours and three sixes, marking his first three-figure score in Test cricket. Tony de Zorzi also joined in, scoring his own maiden century, making it a memorable day for South African batting at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Stubbs continued his stellar innings into the third session, building a massive partnership with Tony de Zorzi that left the Bangladesh dressing room deflated. Their impressive stand strengthened South Africa's position, as both batters showcased resilience and skill on Day 1 of the second Test in Chattogram.
